Snapeee App - I'm hooked on photo deco

Hi all,

Hope you've been well!

I've been good - just playing with all sorts of fun apps in the Google Play store.

I recently started using Snapeee. It is kind of like a Japanese version of Instagram except with WAY more options. These include filters, frames,  stamps,  writing,  etc.

When you download the app you get free points in your bank to buy deco packs with.

To get more free points you just have to "like" other Snapeee members photos. You can choose from 4 categories:  Great,  Kawaii,  Yummy, and Like. You will receive approximately 5 points for each interaction.

There are some deco packs that can only be purchased with real money.

Here are some of my favorite photo deco creations that I made.

Once you are finished decorating your photo you can share it on Facebook and Twitter, plus a variety of other social networking sites that I've never heard of... probably because they are Japanese.

You can also set the privacy of your photos: public,  followers only,  friends only,  etc.

Another photo deco app without the social networking aspect is Picute. I like this app but there are fewer free deco packs that are as adorable as Snapeee.

My Online Store is Moving

Hello Dear Customers,
I was introduced awhile back to an online store platform that is completely free!  It is called Storenvy.  I love the site's look, and given the listing and seller fees that come with Etsy, I've finally decided to move my shop!
image

This is a big step because I feared I wouldn't get the same exposure that I got on Etsy (which wasn't that much to begin with) but I decided to just do it.  Being able to load your listings straight from Etsy helps ease the transition a bit.  They also give you the option to totally customize your shop to match your blog or website.

So please help me out by visiting my new online store at http://belovedbijou.storenvy.com/.  Also, please share with your friends.
In honor of the move I am hosting a giveaway!  To enter simply comment on this post.
Thanks ^.^

What is in my makeup bag?

I thought it would be fun to do one of these posts about what I keep in my makeup bag (sanz feminine products).
For starters I absolutely LOVE my makeup bag. Lesportsac is by far my favorite brand of purse and travel tote.
Not only do they have pretty prints but they are durable and washable so they last for ages.
image
I have a coordinating set from LeSportsac's Manoush collection. I get so many compliments on my handbag. It is a pretty large handbag that I like to call my  duffel bag.
My makeup bag is actually a wristlet. I like using it because I can just grab it out of my handbag if I'm going to happy hour, etc.
image
Well here it is... kind of random.
image
Of course I have to have my kawaii goodies like Hello Kitty oil blotting paper, HK nail clippers, HK tweezers, and cute girly scissors.
image
Next up are my color stay lip glosses. Revlon ColorStay Overtime and Avon Perfect Wear are both awesome ones!   The color really does stay - doesn't come off on your coffee mug or when you kiss. Clear gloss on the other side to keep the lips shiny and mosturized.
Also notice my citrine point and my other little bag of gemstones, including tourmaline and rose quartz. I collect rocks. Yup. Rocks.
image
Have you seen these little disposable Colgate Wisp toothbrushes?  Very handy! I'm a fan.
image
As you may have noticed from the previous photo I like to buy stuff on clearance to try it out. If I like it I buy more. The problem with that is sometimes they are on clearance because they don't make them anymore.
Example: green tea solid perfume stick. Smells amazing! Haven't seen any more since. Oh well.
Another must have is The Healing Garden lavender therapy pressure point lotion. I don't know how they did it but somehow they got lavender to have an icy hot effect. Uh-mazing!

My pretty little Estee Lauder mini compact - free gift with purchase. #frugal
It is so cute. It is about the size of a silver dollar.
image
Ok I slipped in one feminine product. Femme Fresh Wipes for feminine refreshing...with a kick. It has enhancers in it which really just feels like you put ice cubes in your undies. Woo!

Ladies' Getaway in Chama, New Mexico

This past weekend I went with my mother-in-law and her co-workers to stay in a vacation rental in Chama, New Mexico. We just wanted to get away and have a weekend full of relaxation,  indulgences,  laughing,  and fun!   Let me tell you - mission accomplished!
We stayed in a gorgeous two-story Victorian farm house on the main street. It was within walking distance to the Cumbres and Toltec Railyard, which is closed for the winter right now, but we will be back in the summer.
image
There was a light snow for the duration of our stay. Loved it! It doesn't snow much in the Rio Grande valley so I was tickled to enjoy some winter weather.
image
Here are some photos of the home's interior. It has been very tastefully refurbished and the house was very well thought out when it was built. There were 7 of us and it wasn't a bit crowded.

We went out for a walk Saturday afternoon as it started snowing. I was hoping to get some more photos of all the cute old cottages and B&Bs but it didn't stop snowing until just before we left on Sunday. Here are a few that I was able to capture before we got cold and went back.

We had a blast - probably too much fun even.
If you're looking to get away I highly recommend using a vacation rental instead of a hotel. Much cheaper and more accommodating.

¡Salud!
