Interesting Business Advice

When you want advice, ask for money. When you want money, ask for advice.
Being asked for advice is a refreshing change and will lower an investor’s guard. Once someone gives advice they will feel a sense of ownership in you and your company, and an interest in your success. If you follow their advice—or demonstrate a good reason that you didn’t—they will be more likely to continue to engage with you. And they will be more likely to invest in you when they believe you are ready.
